Q: I’m not sure if we can enter?
A: As long as you and your partner live in the Bath Chronicle, Frome Standard or Somerset Guardian circulation areas, are both consenting participants and are legally eligible to marry within the UK you can enter, but please ensure you have the permission of both parties beforehand.
Q: Are same-sex couples able to enter?
A: Yes, the promotion is open to any couple looking to marry in the Bath Chronicle, Frome Standard or Somerset Guardian circulation areas.
Q: We are already married but we are looking to renew our vows, can we still enter?
A: This competition is only open to those looking to marry via civil ceremony and who aren’t already married.
Q: Can I enter this competition on someone else’s behalf?
A: Unfortunately not, we can only accept entries direct from the named couple on the entry form.
Q: We don’t have a photo of us as a couple together, does that matter?
A: A photo is an important part of the entry process as it forms part of the photo supplement. We cannot accept entries without a photo of you both. Photos submitted of just one of you, or that features anyone else but the entered couple, will not be accepted.
Q: How do I know if my entry has been successful?
A: As soon as you’ve registered you will receive an automatic email back stating that your entry has been successful with more detailed information on what happens next. You will also receive a welcome pack after entry closes and before the couple’s supplement is printed.

Q: When will my photo appear in paper?
A: Once entered, your photo, entry statement and unique code will appear in the Bath Chronicle, Frome Standard and Somerset Guardian couples supplement on Thursday 22nd June. This will also commence the prize draw stage of the competition.
Q: What do we win?
A: The winner of the Win a Wedding competition will win a prize from every prize supplier featured on the home page. The prizes per supplier are all detailed within each prize section, along with the terms and conditions of each prize. But don’t worry – if you are lucky enough to win we will supply you with everything you need to start planning your wedding, including what is included and what to do next.
Q: How do we win?
A: The winner will be the couple whose prize draw slip is selected at random. Tokens will be printed in the Bath Chronicle, Frome Standard and Somerset Guardian every week between Thursday 22nd June and Thursday 20th July. You will need 500 tokens to complete a prize draw slip. The more prize draw slips you submit, the more chance you will have of being pulled out at random. The closing date for all completed prize draw slips is 12pm noon on Tuesday 25th July.
Q: How do we need to send in our prize draw slips?
A: After the entry deadline of 12pm Monday 12thJune all entered couples will be sent a Welcome Pack containing a tip sheet on how to collect as many prize draw slips as possible. Collect tokens from all your family and friends and submit them on your prize draw slips all in one go.

It is advised to send them recorded delivery or hand deliver – but please be aware of the strict deadline, we must receive them before 12pm midday, Tuesday 25th July 2017. Any tokens received after this time will not be counted. However you are also able to hand deliver if you wish.
N.B. In the event that participants have incurred postage shortfall or tokens are lost in post, the Bath Chronicle, Frome Standard or Somerset Guardian or individual suppliers cannot pay postage costs to obtain entries, nor can it take responsibility for lost or damaged entries and tokens.
Q: Can I change the date of the wedding?
A: No. The date of the wedding is strictly set as Saturday 17th March 2017 and is non-transferable.
Q: What if I can’t make the venue tour?
A: If you don’t think you and your partner will be able to attend a tour of the Hilton Bath City on Friday 28th July please let the promotions team know on 0117 934 3034 as soon as possible in order for us to rearrange.
Q: Are all registrar fee’s included?
